30-Hour Program with David Clutterbuck

What does it take to evolve from a coach to a masterful coach? From a leader who coaches to a leader who creates a coaching culture? David Clutterbuck has spent a decade exploring coaches’ and leaders’ journeys towards coaching mastery and finds it has little to do with competencies. As in almost every field of human endeavour, the journey towards mastery involves letting go of most of what you learned in the early stages. “When you realise that almost everything you learned as a beginner coach was inaccurate or only partly true, you have truly grasped the essence of being a great coach.”

The Holistic Coach

A systemic approach to coaching and leadership mastery

This intensive learning experience from one of the original founders of the coaching profession is designed to expand your awareness of what great coaching can achieve, not just for individuals, but for organizations and society more widely. This is a journey of many facets:

  • From doing coaching to being a coach
  • From process focus to wisdom
  • From problems and solutions to possibilities and working with the unknowable
  • From individuals to teams and teams of teams
  • From linear to systems to complex adaptive systems thinking
  • From coach as magician to coach as co-creator

One of the challenges facing coaches is that leadership is changing and coaches are in danger of being left behind. As leaders learn to cope with complexity, uncertainty and speed of change, coaches’ skills to do the same need to be at least on a par.

The Holistic Coach provides insights into some of the most challenging issues for leaders and coaches alike. It provides you with a dramatically expanded toolkit to help leaders understand and feel comfortable in dealing with complex situations as interlinked systems – making the connections that enable values-driven decision-making.
