About the Program

This course is an introduction to the Systemic Approach to coaching. Although it is gaining momentum now, this approach has existed for as long as humankind. More importantly, it is the need of the hour.
During this program, you'll learn from a panel of trained Systemic Coaches. We will explore various concepts from Kurt Lewin's Organizational Development Principles to the Development of The Systemic Approach by thought leaders such as Edgar Schein, Peter Senge, Otto Scharmer, David Clutterbuck, and Peter Hawkins. Join us to learn about its role in bringing about Organisational Development, and the unity of the individual and system.

Instructors

Rama Kannan, MCC

Rama is a Master Certified Coach (MCC) from ICF and coaches senior executives in the corporate and social sectors globally. She has been a Mentor and a Coach for ten years. Her strength as an executive coach is built on 16 years of corporate experience in large multinationals in senior strategy and marketing roles in the Asia Pacific region. She is a Director on the Board of an Indian listed company which offers a great perspective of the challenges in the corporate sector. She is also keenly interested in the social sector – she is a Director on the Board of a US Impact fund and teaches social entrepreneurship in India and has taught social entrepreneurship for a UN programme. She served as a mentor for Afghan civil servants through the UN for ten years and a mentor for a social incubator in India. She has an MBA from NUS, Singapore.

S. Vijayalakshmi, MCC

Vijayalakshmi is a Management Consultant and Master Certified Coach (MCC) from International Coach Federation. She has 20 years of Corporate experience across Coaching, Management Consulting and Human Resources with a background in Law. As an experienced coach, she has expertise in partnering with businesses, teams and individuals. She is an alumna of NLSIU Bangalore and XLRI Jamshedpur. “Play at Full Potential” is a motto that guides her approach to life, wherein every entity has the potential to perform at its best, and find its greatness. This belief also drives her purpose of supporting others to explore and leverage their highest potential. Support is offered through coaching and consulting partnerships, enabling clients to realise their vision, in a trusted space of empathy & positive energy. Brand Viji is a fine balance of head & heart, with distinct attributes of purpose, passion, optimism, authenticity, courage and empathy. Coming from a background in sport, she is the biggest cheer-leader for her clients, never letting them lose sight of their goal-post! Shabari Madappa, PCC

As a Leadership and OD practitioner, Shabari has worked with organizations in diverse industries and leaders across the globe for over 28 years. At the core of her consulting work is a firm belief in the power of relationships and the human desire to unleash the potential to fulfill aspirations. What she enjoys the most, is helping mid & senior-level leaders enhance their human sensitivity & learning agility to support their high results and business orientation. Shabari has various professional accreditations & certifications such as the OD & Process work internship by Sumedhas; in 9 different psychometric / profiling instruments & inventories like the MBTI, FIRO-B, Belbin, Hogan, Influence Style Indicator, McQuaig, EUM, Strength Deployment Inventory (SDI), Transformative Alignment Mapper (TAM), Systemic Team coaching; Certified in ToP (Technology of Participation-Level 1 &2) a methodology for small and large group facilitation. As an Executive Coach, she is PCC certified through ICF and an Adjunct Coach with the Centre for Creative Leadership (CCL). She has an MBA in HR from XLRI, Jamshedpur.

Ramesh Sreedharan, MCC

Ramesh is a seasoned business leader with an overall experience of over 30 years working with organizations like GE, Wipro and TCS. Of this over 15 years have been in senior business leadership roles managing large (10K+), global multifunctional teams. He brings significant business, customer management, project management and team leadership experience to the table. This includes working across industries verticals and geographies, dealing with individuals from diverse backgrounds and nationalities. Ramesh enjoys working with people and followed his passion by becoming a full time Leadership Coach and Facilitator. He is accredited with the International Coach Federation (ICF) as a Master Certified Coach (MCC) and has over 2500 hours of Coaching experience having worked with over 300 leaders and their teams since he started this journey 5 years ago. Apart from Coaching, Ramesh runs various leadership development programs through his organization, Orenda Centre for Leadership Excellence, with the firm belief that inner wisdom guides every individual in his/her journey and the role of a facilitator or coach is to help the individual reflect and derive their own insights. David Clutterbuck

David says that his role is to ask BDQs "Bloody Difficult Questions" as a mentor or coach. He is a researcher, a faciliatator of good practice in Boardrooms, and the Practice Leader in international consultancies David Clutterbuck Partnership (DCP) and Coaching & Mentoring International (CMI) which specialise in supporting organisations in developing mentoring and coaching programmes, and in establishing sustainable mentoring and coaching cultures. DCP also offers consultancy and training in Systemic Talent Management. Everything he does revolves around helping people and organisations harness the power of dialogue - to have the conversations that will bring about positive change. David has written or co-written more than 70 books. He is a visiting professor to the coaching and mentoring faculties of Henley Business School, Oxford Brookes University, Sheffield Hallam University and York St John. In 2011, he was voted Coaching at Work magazine's Mentor of the Year. He co-founded the European Mentoring and Coaching Council, for which he is now International Special Ambassador.

Ram S Ramanathan, MCC, SP, BCC

As Mentor Coach, Ram brings an accomplished 45-year career off to the helm of Coacharya. He oversees all aspects of coaching and training services offered and is responsible for creating all proprietary coaching models for Coacharya. Ram held C-suite leadership positions for 25-years during which he turned around companies, helped a billion-dollar conglomerate, supervised multinational joint ventures, advised the governments of Indonesia and Singapore, angel invested/incubated technology start-ups, and consulted family businesses, small-to-medium enterprises, and nonprofit institutions, He stresses the principles of lean management, customer orientation and quality assurance in all facets of business. As a leadership development coach, Ram works with groups and individuals on issues of team-building, alignment of cultural values, co-creation of vision to action plans, strategic performance issues of engagement, and coping with VUCA. Ram has authored several books on Eastern philosophy and published articles internationally on mindless awareness in coaching. He teaches as an adjunct faculty at postgraduate programs and speaks at events related to human development. Ram’s passion is blending Eastern spiritual practices (yoga, tantra, and meditation) with Western psychological interventions (NLP, Gestalt, Positive Psychology) to enhance personal development in all aspects of work and life. Ram and his wife, Neena, split their time between their home in Bangalore, and their grandchildren in California and Berkeley.
